Urad Chilka

Description

Split Black Matpe or Black Grams are also known as Urad Chilka. This is Black Matpe have been split but not skinned and have a creamy white interior. Black Urad Dall is very delicious in taste and easy and quick to prepare compare to whole Black Matpe or Urad Beans. Split Black Matpe are not as mild as the dehusked white Urad Dall. Like other dalls it is nutritious and high in protein. The addition of different kind of Spices while making various recipes gives this dal a wonderful flavor.
